$4.5M Government grant secures construction start for Collie Micronising Facility
In a significant milestone, International Graphite Limited has secured funding to construct the first purpose-built commercial graphite micronising plant in Australia. The Company has entered into a funding agreement with the Western Australian Government releasing $4.5M of the grant awarded in April 2024. $2.0M will support construction of Stage 1 comprising a ~3,000 tpa micronising facility to be built, at an estimated capital cost of ~$4.0, adjacent to the Company’s existing premises in the Collie Light Industrial Area.

Prime Minister leads joint Government tour of Collie graphite facility
Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited International Graphite's Collie processing and R&D facility to see first-hand the contribution the Company is making to the development of Australia’s critical minerals industry. Prime Minister Albanese was accompanied by Federal Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen, and Assistant Minister Josh Wilson. They were joined by Western Australia’s Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Reece Whitby, Member for Collie-Preston Jodie Hanns MLA, and WA Government representatives.

Why American batteries need Australian Graphite
The US expects to import most of the natural graphite it needs for battery production over the next two decades and International Graphite aims to be on its preferred list of trusted near-shore suppliers. IG6 headed to the SelectUSA Investment Summit, in Washington DC to wave the flag for Australian graphite in one of the world’s fastest growing battery markets. The summit is the US Government’s biggest investment showcase attracting economic development leaders from 55 states and more than 2,000 business investors from 80 international markets.

Successful share placement raises $3M launching an SPP offer to existing shareholders
International Graphite has successfully raised $3.0M this week via a placement of 24 million new shares with binding commitments from sophisticated and professional investors with a share purchase plan offer launched for eligible shareholders. This is the first capital raising since the Company’s IPO in 2022. Following the success of the placement, the company has launched a share purchase plan (SPP) for existing shareholders. The SPP aims to raise a further $1M.

WA Government awards $6.5M for Australia’s first graphite processing plant
The Western Australian Government has awarded International Graphite an additional $6.5 million grant to progress the establishment of Australia’s first downstream graphite processing plant at Collie. The grant was announced by WA Premier the Hon. Roger Cook at the Company’s R&D Facility during the Collie Industry Transition Expo on Saturday 20 April 2024. It brings total funding from the State’s Collie Just Transition Program to $8.5 million and total grant funding from State and Federal Governments to $13.2 million.

Celebrating Two Years of Listing on the ASX
Today marks the second anniversary of International Graphite’s admission to the Official List of the ASX. It also marks the release of a total of 77,170,221 ordinary shares following completion of the two-year ASX escrow period. In the two years since listing the Company has made significant strides with 75% of funding going to the development of assets at Springdale and Collie and support for major shareholders Comet Resources.

Collie Micronising Qualification Plant Commissioned
In a first for Australia’s battery minerals industry, International Graphite today announced the successful commissioning of its new graphite micronising plant at Collie, south of Perth. The qualification-scale microniser, with a capacity of 200 tonnes per annum, is the largest in Australia and a milestone in the development of a domestic graphite industry. It will be the first to produce graphite products in Australia for customer acceptance testing.

Springdale-Collie Integrated Scoping Study released
International Graphite’s plans for a fully integrated battery graphite operation in Western Australia took a leap forward today with the release of key findings from the Springdale-Collie Integrated Mine to Market Scoping Study. The study positions the planned Springdale mine and Collie downstream processing facilities as a world leading development-stage graphite asset with a globally competitive cost structure.

Springdale Graphite Project named Australian resource discovery of the year
International Graphite’s Springdale deposit, near Hopetoun in Western Australia, has been named Discovery of the Year in the 20th annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards. The award, which is one of the most prestigious in Australia, celebrates a greenfields or brownfields site that is recognised as significant for the broader Australian industry.

Huge Mineral Resource increase ranks Springdale second largest graphite deposit in Australia
The second largest known graphite deposit in Australia has been revealed at the Springdale Graphite Project following the release of a new Mineral Resource estimate. The independent estimate is 3.4 times the previous estimate growing from 15.3Mt @ 6.0% Total Graphitic Carbon (TGC) to 49.3Mt @ 6.5% TGC @ 2% TGC cut-off.
