IG has appointed the German Institute for Asset and Equity Allocation and Valuation (DGWA) to help spearhead the company’s move into the burgeoning European lithium-ion battery supply chain.
The firm, based in Germany, represents investor interests across all European markets, specialising in the growing battery technology and renewable energy industries. Its clients are worldwide and concentrated in the leading European hubs of Germany, Switzerland, UK, France, Italy, Monaco, Luxembourg and Lichtenstein.
DGWA’s management team boasts a 25-year track record in trading, investing and analysing small and mid-cap investments around the world. The firm has successfully supported over 250 IPO’s, financings, bond issues, dual listings and corporate finance transactions as well as managing road shows and awareness campaigns.
IG’s Chairman Phil Hearse said the appointment would give International Graphite permanent representation in European markets, particularly Germany, where electric vehicle manufacturers are leading the lithium-ion battery uptake and searching for new suppliers who can provide high quality components, including battery anode graphite.

DGWA will be tasked with building awareness of IG with investors, end-users and government agencies in the battery industry and engaging with potential partners, customers and technical experts to advance IG’s battery anode material capability.
