Our vertically integrated operations are located in Western Australia, the world’s premier mining jurisdiction. We’re backed by strong government and community support including a A$8.5M investment from the Western Australian Government and A$4.7M from Australia’s national Critical Minerals Development Program. The company’s strategy – to produce a fully purified and coated battery anode material using our own mined resources – will ensure we capture the full value of our graphite resource.

International Graphite is helping to pioneer new opportunities, new global supply capability and a new industry for Australia. The company has a strong vision and a progressive business strategy underpinned by strong technical strengths, and rigorous environmental social and governance (ESG) standards.
Our staged expansion strategy will start with a base business in micronised graphite. This is expected to generate fast-to-market products and early revenue to fund ongoing growth and diversification. It will help build market awareness for our brand as we progress to battery anode material as decarbonisation drives exponential global demand for Lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles and renewable power storage.
International Graphite is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange as IG6 and on Europe’s Tradegate and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges (FWB: H99, WKN: A3DJY5) and is a member of the European Battery Alliance (EBA250) and European Raw Minerals Alliance (ERMA).
We are developing two major assets:
- Springdale Graphite Project – we are defining a long-life, shallow graphite deposit with high-grade graphite core near Hopetoun, Western Australia.
- Collie Downstream Processing Facility – the hub of our R&D activities and planned commercial production of battery anode material and other industrial graphite products, in Collie in Western Australia.

The Australian Government has backed our strategy with a A$4.7m Critical Minerals Development Grant for both the expansion of our graphite micronising capacity in Collie and feasibility studies for our battery anode material manufacturing. This support will be instrumental in progressing the next stages of our business and acknowledges the important contribution International Graphite is making to the growth and resilience of Australia’s sovereign battery minerals supply chain.
The WA Government has also invested A$2m to fast track our graphite micronising capability at Collie recognising the value our business is bringing to clean energy and the growth of the State’s battery industry hub.
